Testemonials
The following came in as a spontaneous response from one of the retreat participants on the December 2010 retreat, and has been reproduced with permission.
"Dear Flo,
Just a quick message to thank you once again for the retreat last week, which very much lived up to my expectations. I was particularly impressed by the depth and breadth of your knowledge of yoga, and the excellence of your planning, preparation and presentation of lessons.
I expected to be tired and achy by the end of the week, but am pleasantly surprised to feel quite energetic with no aches and pains at all. I'm attributing this partly to the extra time you spent on pranayama and relaxation/meditation compared to other retreats I've attended, but also to the way that you sequence your lessons so that the body is very thoroughly prepared before moving into the stronger asanas. A good lesson for me to bring into my own practice!
The food, of course was wonderful, so was the location beside such an unspoiled, uncrowded beach, and the accommodation, I thought, was comfortable and good value for the price.
All up, a worthwhile, educative and enjoyable week!
Best wishes for the future to you and yours,
Warmest regards, JS"
Example Daily Retreat Schedule

7.30-8am; Meditation.
A variety of traditional, guided sitting meditation techniques (those who cannot sit can lie down, sit with back against wall etc.)
8am-10am; Therapeutic Vinyasa style yoga Asana
Using a flowing, focused sequence of postures, we will address the fundemenatal asanas to build a deeper understanding of postural bio-mechanicss and learn to manage common areas of pain, tightness and weakness in the body.Though the practice is strength and fitness building, Flo creates a strong focus of awareness on the subtleties of the physical postures, core-strength, and the movement of the breath in the body. There will be alternatives given to those whose injuries or postural peculiarities prevent them from performing a posture with total comfort and safety. This practice will be of benefit to all, beginners to advanced students/teachers.

This session will be of particular benefit to those seeking a way to use their yoga practice to relax and 'tune-in' at a deeper level.
In this session we will explore various breathing techniques, meditation and yoga nidra (guided visualisation and deep-relaxation) to bring about a deep experience of connectedness with the very subtlest layers of our being. especially beneficial to those who have had a strongly Asana focused practice, or those who have stressful lives, and are not familiar with Yoga Nidra. (It is blissful!)

Tallow BeachMore About Intouch Yoga Retreats with Flo
All students, whatever their reasons for joining the retreat, will appreciate this precious opportunity to withdraw from responsibility and look within. Setting a firm foundation of fastidiously correct alignment in the Asanas, we will sharpen our focus of the here and now. From this point of clearer mental focus, we will begin to understand the relationships between the physical body, the breath, and the workings of the mind. We will be developing the ability to change our state of mind and energy level by working with Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) and meditation.
All of us, by building progressively subtler body-awareness, will experience a deeper understanding of ourselves.
To Beginners
Taking their first steps on the path of yoga, this retreat offers an invaluable opportunity to begin from a firm foundation. Developing a clear understanding of how to work correctly may be saving years of misguided practice and possible injury. Commit to learning well, from a specialist at picking up individual peculiarities.
For Intermediate to Advanced level students and teachers
Flo extends her invitation to build a deeper awareness of the subtle biomechanics of the body than ever before. Her energetic and inspirational approach will increase your enthusiasm and love of yoga.
